13 memoranda signed within the framework of the Eurasian Orthopedic Forum
Representatives from seventy countries of the near and far abroad took part in the Eurasian Orthopedic Forum. The organizers of the event were pleasantly surprised by such attention from foreign partners, but still found a logical explanation for this phenomenon.
The fact is that in recent years, the role of traumatology and orthopedics in the world has grown significantly: the total number of operations is increasing, new technologies are being developed that bring the entire industry to a fundamentally new level. Therefore, such events, where there is an exchange of experience, are extremely important for all market players. The list of participating countries includes: Jordan, Kazakhstan, China, Moldova, Poland, Uzbekistan, Japan and others.
As the president of the Association of Traumatologists and Orthopedists Sergey Mironov notes, 5 years ago, only 8-10 thousand operations were performed on prosthetics of large joints, and only over the past year, more than 110 thousand of them have already been performed. Technical and professional training of specialists has also increased significantly, and the services themselves are much more accessible. During the forum, thirteen memorandums of cooperation between medical institutions and various countries were signed.
