1 billion rubles for the diagnosis of cancer
About 990 million rubles were allocated by the government for the retrofitting of the capital’s clinics, which operate cancer departments. It is planned to increase the frequency of detection of cancer in the early stages of development. Dmitry Markov, who is currently the Minister of Health of the Moscow region, explained that the representatives of medicine have a serious task: it is necessary to increase the load on existing medical equipment to 90% in the oncology departments of Moscow clinics. In addition, doctors and specialists will have to involve a much larger part of the population in research than before.
We also recall that over the past calendar year, the mortality rate from cancer has slightly decreased by three percent, and the detection of cancer at an early stage has increased by 53%, which is very significant. The earlier the diagnosis is made, the faster and better you can help the patient. Recall that in the near future in the Moscow region will open a new page in the diagnosis and treatment of cancer in connection with the commissioning of two PET centers under construction.
